Late Night

Throughout college I have stayed up very late, on a weekday I once stayed up until three. And it's all for the grades. Right now is one of those nights but I think I'll go to bed in ten minutes, my eyes are paining me. So why the late nights? studying of course, intermingled with "surfing the net". So away I go into the soft embrace of my pillow and blanket. Good night.

Role MODEL

Being of Indian origin, it has been difficult in respect to fitting in with the American system. I'm the opposite of the blue-eyed blonde-haired beauties. There aren't many people like me from where I grew up, in a mostly white suburban town, and I didn't have many people to look up to, of whom had gone through my experiences, nobody I knew could fit into the same pair of shoes that I wore. But now I have discovered a fun, quirky girl who seems just like me. Her name is Jameela Jamil and although she is from England I can still look up to this girl as inspiration to who I want to be or what I want people to see me as. I love her style and her charm, I can relate to her, I, like her always have to try to say something funny especially during the serious moments because I dislike when things get so stuffy and tight.  I don't really look like this tall, looks-like-a-model type girl, but her personality definitely shines bright like mine, I guess she is my role model.
