Wish List

I love clothes. I love jewelry, things that sparkle and shimmer, that stand out. I would look very theatrical if I could wear whatever I wanted. I like a mix of Urban outfitters, Forever 21, stuff from India, H & M, Marchesa, Native Americans and people in Asia and the Middle East, and things that I've made. I like the style of Natasha Kahn of Bat for Lashes, Marina Diamandis of Marina and the Diamonds, Lily Allen, Zooey Deschanel.

oo random thought: J.D. Salinger passed away last Wednesday. Hmmm I always wanted to send him a letter before he passed away. I wanted to know why he was so reclusive and why he didn't publish some of his works.

I want these shoes, forever 21 about 23 bucks.
A great site that I basically have to check everyday is http://lookbook.nu

These Marchesa dresses are stunning. If I could afford a dress from this label I would definitely buy it from them for whatever formal or fun occasion. I love the beading and sequins, tiny mirrors, and bright colors that Marchesa flaunts. This line is exotic, a work of art, and gorgeous. Ok I should stop gushing. Clothes do matter, this I have learned. In middle School I always wore the same thing, jeans and a sweatshirt. Maybe sometimes I wore my hair differently, or put on a different blouse. But it was always drab and in black and boring. Towards the end of High School I started to wear different things, more feminine, and in better quality. Now, in my freshman year of college I'm making a big effort to look unique and being creative. I put barrettes or pins in my hair, wear headbands or bows. I can sometimes go nuts with the jewelry. Usually though, since it's always cold here in Boston, I wear my tops with a cardigan or sweater and definitely a scarf. Someone recently asked me if I really like fashion, well I guess I do, and I'm glad.
